Olli's Kosmos

Olli is a busy guy with all his projects so although his Kosmos custom bike project had apparently been ready for ages but only now he found the time to snap some photos of the finished bike. It's a piece of art but I'd really love to take it for a spin.

Geekhouse !!!

Geekhouse Movie from Geekhouse Bikes on Vimeo.

Check this out, it's like the music video approach to frame building.
Anyhow, Geekhouse bikes look super nice to me.

Kinfolk Bicycle Co // Kusaka-San

The Kinfolk Bicycle Co. boys in Tokyo have a new webpage open for ordering those nice custom track frames, hand-built with love by Kusaka-san in Kansai, Japan. "Keirin Inspired Track Frames". I like that. And I also had to post below two pics of the master building in his workshop.

Two last pics are stolen from Akiya_M's excellent Vivalo Flicrk set. Arigato!

Kusaka-San Appreciation

The Kinfolk/Ways And Means guys from Tokyo did a nice write-up on Kusaka-san, the man who built Vivalo keirin frames for nearly 30 years, and builds now custom bikes for their Kinfolk Bicycles brand

Being owner of a Vivalo Keirin bike myself, I need to express my respect for Sensei Kusaka by linking some nice photo resources with plenty of pics from his workshop in Kobe, Japan.

Bike DIY Corner: Rebirth of 'Crescent Pista'

What happens when you find a dead and abandoned bike frame in the woods and give it to someone who knows how to braze and weld, and is not afraid to experiment a little bit? This happens. RokPete's Crescent road frame is reborn as a 'Crescent Pista' in the skilled hands of ChopperOlli.

Now we are waiting for the full build pics to emerge.

Olli's Fixed Gear SUV For Sale

Well, I've probably forgotten to mention that it's currently for sale here. So if you want to own a hand-made custom bike like no other, just send him a message. The asking price is 1100€ but I understood that he'll probably also listen to serious offers.

Olli's Kosmos: Under Construction

Here some bike pron for yo'all. Olli's new project, Kosmos, is in the process but to me it is somehow starting to look more like an Octopus now.

Corratec 1994 Track Bike

While Olli builds his mad bike designs over here at the moment, there were people before him who decided to challenge the conventional rules of frame building. I just wonder why these types of ideas did not stick and become used more often. Maybe there was a reason...

If that bike is your type of thing, check out the auction and tons of hi-res pics in here.

Olli's New Whip: Kosmos

ChopperOlli is bending steel again.

New project is under way, the draft name is 'Kosmos' and I believe the inspiration came from those wheels he just built, actually.

Here's a full gallery of hi-res pics. And hey, it's barspinnable too!

Caselli Pista

Interesting design. You're late, it's already sold.
But check out more pics here.
