"Does Fixed Gear Freestyle Suck?"

In case you're wondering why I haven't been posting any fixed freestyle edits here recently, go ahead and read THIS article on The Footdown. I agree on most of the points made by the author, especially concerning both rollerblading and razor scooters...

'Coast No Coast' Documentary

Coast No Coast - Quote edit from Brock Mitchell on Vimeo.

"Coast No Coast is a new documentary that will cover the 2200 kilometer journey from Vancouver to Mexico on fixed gears."

Wait, so they're gonna ride down from Vancouver all the way to Mexico on a tricktrack bike wearing casual urban clothing? Not wanting to be a hater or anything byt that sounds damn epic for sure, just maybe for wrong reasons. I wish them all the luck!

Spot The Difference

Dedicated tricktrack frames, what's the difference between these?

Bunch of randomly picked photos of Airwalk Fixed Gear BMX, Brick Lane Bikes BLT, MKS Bruiser and Charge Scissor in random order. Are there in fact any real differences? Yeah, sure there are, different tubing, the whole debate on the AFG BMX being blatant copy of Bruiser etc. but just looking at these I'm starting to wonder...

Dear Tom...

...that was a joke, right? Because I'm not entirely sure whether that was worth a tutorial. Frankly, if someone cannot figure that out by themselves, maybe they should stick to playing Tony Hawk on Xbox or something.

Meanwhile In Seoul

The Last summer and holiday from K.z on Vimeo.

But with BEP's 'Weekends' as the soundtrack? Nah, the record trainspotter in me forces me to post Debbie Deb's original 'Lookout Weekend' here...

Gorilla Trick Frame

John Prolly already posted about this as he is always on top of this stuff but here we go:

A trick track prototype frame from Gorilla Bicycles in Switzerland and what's more interesting, it's apparently hand-built in Italy by CIÖCC? If you forget about the super fugly unicrown fork it looks pretty interesting. I wonder if they will actually start selling these at some point.

There's more pics of it at Chari & Co blog.
