Broken Profile Fixed Hub



A cone broken off somebodys' Profile Fixed Hub. And these were supposed to be some burly American-made hubs from a respected BMX brand, yeah? Ok, of course stuff sometimes breaks, especially if abused, but still this makes me wonder a bit about their design...

Meanwhile in Japan...



I think it's fair to say that Japan is leading the way on the fixed gear freestyle/tricks or whatever you wanna call that thing. Most likely most of these guys have a background in bmx which explains a lot. Like just wait till the very end of the clip to see a super clean 360°...
