1V3V Turku Photos

Last weekend in Turku was a blast but somehow very few good photos have surfaced after the event. That is until Joonas AKA Mr. Le Prince finally put up some so just head over to his blog to check them out.

Lots of people showed up from all over, sun was shining, bike polo was played, more people raced in the Alleycat than ever before in Finland, beer was drank, fun was had. So just like Joonas was already saying: What else can you ask for?

Yksivaihde.net Second Anniversary

Yksivaihde.net's second Anniversary in Tampere and was the bomb. Took me some time to recover from the trip but here's some some pics taken by different people. Lotsa fun was had. If you weren't there, you missed out, simple as that. Big thanks to everyone!

Yksivaihde.net X BC Hellsinki Pre Xmas Bash

Collabo event with by Yksivaihde.net and Helsinki Massive yesterday. Was Fun.

Group ride, Alleycat Team Race, Beer, Band, Party, Sauna, Chaos, Dancing. There was some wrestling too but no pics of that has surfaced yet...

Fillarikorjaamo Helsinki

Yksivaihde.net is having our very own club night in the Korjaamo Bar / Club in Töölö Helsinki on every first Friday of the summer months, plus an extra End of the Summer Grande Finale night in August. 

We'll start at the terrace at 7 o'clock and move inside the bar around ten, there'll be a cheap special happy hour beer price for everyone arriving on a bicycle. 

There will be also a street race / alleycat starting at six o'clock from the terrace every time, then possibly some trick competitions, a free bike repairs spot with tools to borrow etc. and so on. We'll try to organize some movie viewings too and yours truly will be spinning vinyl among other people. 

So everyone please join us if you're in town, and even if you're only visiting Helsinki!  

Yksivaihde.net First Anniversary Party // 16.5.2009 Helsinki

The Yksivaihde.net First Anniversary Party on Saturday was magic. Mellow group ride, barbeque, bike polo, beer drinking, alleycat race and the more beer drinking. Lots people, old and new faces, showed up, the weather was as nice it gets. Big hand to Eki & tnts for organizing the event and lots of love to everyone who was there. 

Also a special mention to Samuli who rode for two days and some 400+ kilometres all the way from Vaasa on the west coast to come to the party. And as if that wasn't enough, he was the best out-of-towner on the alleycat race and finished on shared second spot. Respect. 

Next year we'll do this again and it will even BIGGER.
