14R // 14 Bike Co X FGLDN

14 Bike Co X FGLDN Collabo.
"14R frame + forks are priced at £1000.00 and can be pre-ordered from john@14bikeco.com. Frame sets will be available from mid February."
Filet brazed oversized aero-shaped Reynolds 853 steel. The "Tight" or "Super-Tight" geo is maybe bit of LOL but Steel Is Real. I do approve.

Kalavinka X Adidas
I've said it before: I've always loved old school Adidas, I dig Keirin bikes and I even think HED trispokes are somewhat cool.
But somehow I do NOT love this hideous creation.

Kazane X Natas Kaupas

And if you're too young to know who Natas Kaupas is, it's time to educate yourself. Because back in the day, after the 'Wheels of Fire' came out street skateboarding was never the same. The man is a damn legend....

Cinelli X MASH SF Frameset Price
So the price will be 850 USD for frame, forks and headset. In my humble opinion that's not too bad at all, I guess I was expecting it to be much more expensive. Interestingly it's also way cheaper than Cinelli Vigorelli track frameset, at least at the Wrench Science. Strange.
But then if you look at the full build prices with Campy Record or DA gruppo, things do get a bit out of hand...
Thanks to Tim for heads up on this.

FixedGearLondon X Vans Collabo
Fixedgearlondon.com and Vans teamed up and this is what results look like
"Fixedgearlondon was founded by Andy and Ted in 2005, riding fixed has since become our lives – and more. This frame is the first that Ted has built from scratch and is Fixedgearlondons’ interpretation of what a Vans fixed gear bike should be like."

Cinelli X MASH SF
So here it is finally, fresh from Interbike 2008 Las Vegas, Cinelli X MASH SF collabo bike. There were rumours a while ago but I must say that the bike looks way better than I expected. Gotta love the classic Cinelli crest logo, the forward sloping top tube, no holes for brakes, H Plus Son Formation Face aero-rims & the all-black Campy gruppo. Bullhorns and Vittoria Randonneurs are apparently also a must. And note the low flange front hub. I'm personally not so much into the yellow Live Strong bracelet on the front hub but whatever, the MASH SF guys are friends with Lance.
Anyhow, something tells me that the bike won't be very affordable, if some Hypebeast among you wanted to get one. It's not available anywhere yet anyway.

Fuji 'League' 2009 Track Bike
In 2008 Fuji had that OBEY collabo bike that pretty much everyone hated. For 2009 they seem to have the pictured 'League' model instead. I've no idea who/what (if anything?) the League is or what it refers to so tell me if you know?

Acne + Bianchi Pista = Fashion?
You might have already seen these quite scary pics posted somewhere but do you know what they're about? Let me enlighten you:
"Swedish fashion and denim brand Acne has partnered with Italian bike manufacturer Bianchi to create a slick, streamlined collection that is both fashionable and functional."
Yeah, right.
Let me just tell you that the 'strung-out heroin addict caught red handed stealing a Bianchi Pista somewhere in SOHO' -look/style the model is sporting in the pics just doesn't do it for me.
But if you happen like that stuff, sometime soon in the autumn you can apparently go to an ACNE store somewhere and buy that bike. From the clothing store. A bike from a clothing store. Oh, yes. And if you do buy it there, let's just hope the sales boys & girls with trendy hair-dos will set it up just right for you. Tighten the cog and all that stuff that makes your hands all greasy and grimy. So that you can just ride your trendy bike and look really really good.
