Helsinki Fixed Gear Documentary 'Fiksikeskarit'

Fiksikeskarit from T/N/T/S on Vimeo.

A documentary short movie about the long-running Yksivaihde.net Wednesday Tricks & Beers Social Night, filmed and edited by tnts in Töölö, Helsinki. This is about as rad as it gets around here.

Oh well, I feel sorry that I missed this week's sesh when the filming took place. And while I'm no movie critic I detect a flavor of Finnish modern cinema in Aki Kaurismäki's vein, bit of Cinéma Vérité and even a hint of classic Italian Neorealism somewhere in there.

CRITICAL DIRT - A Study In Crossification

CRITICAL FILM from e r t z u i ° film on Vimeo.

"CRITICAL FILM - A documentary about a very special weekend of cyclocross racing. It only took 126 km of dirt, gravel and cobblestones devided in 4 stages between Dresden and Leipzig, 80 racers, 9 hours, 35°C, 600 liters of water, a ton of food, a world cup quarterfinal and many many enthusiastic souls, to make this an unbelievable experience.

They call it "CRITICAL DIRT - A Study In Crossification".

e r t z u i ° film has captured this event along the dirt with our very own perspective."
