Customized Campagnolo Pista 165mm 151bcd Cranks
Just noticed these FOR SALE on the REFURBS blog:
"Campagnolo pista crank set. 165 mm arms, BCD 151 mm. They have been polished down by a skilled mechanic in order to minimize wind resistance, so they have a very nice and shiny finish with no signs of logos except for a faint '165' on the back. Visibly slimmer than the standard track crank arms. Nicely rounded edges and a unique look. Black paint in the shallow cutouts, but this can be removed if you want to keep it silver. Dkr 1000 / $200."
Interesting indeed. Somehow I cannot decide whether I consider these improved or destroyed but the asking price is certainly not bad, at least not on today's Ebay rates.

"Russian Team" Campagnolo Pista Cranks
More super expensive, yet very lovely Campy Pista cranks on Ebay. This time from Poland. The arms appear to be machined to be slimmer than the usual but what does the "Russin Team" actually refer to?
Anyhow, there's plenty of pornographic images HERE.

Mystery Cranksets
As if Electra's new Ticono line wasn't enough, here's another new-production crankset which appears to be direct copy of Camopagnolo's classic Nuovo Record.
Same cranks can apparently be seen on 2010 Fixie Inc. Black Jack, Pashley Clubman and Condor Classico Pista models but none of these companies have revealed which brand cranks these actually are, or who makes them. Anyhow, they look pretty crappy in comparison to the real thing.

Campagnolo Record Pista NJS Crankset

NJS certified pre C-Record era Campagnolo Record Pista cranks on Ebay. These are R-A-R-E.
Or possibly fake because they should look more like this.
